Hello, HDTV!
A week ago Saturday, MFP and I went to Wal-Mart in Port Covington and bought, among other things, a digital-to-analog converter box for our living room TV, which was made in 1997 and thus cannot receive the digital signal that will be the only thing available starting February 17, 2009. So that we might be able to watch TV past that date, MFP hooked it up to the living room TV (he says he is not handy, but HE IS!)
What a difference! Not only does the picture look clearer and crisper, but we can even get some extra channels (such as 2.3, etc.). The best part? We used a coupon which we had applied to the government for which saved us $40 on the converter box.
I revel in anything that makes me happy these days. :)
